“As a school principal and district deputy superintendent , I always believed in the value of a well-conceived, personalized, academic internship program. I encouraged student participation knowing that the experience taught relevant connections between the classroom and the real world. This innovative and leading edge program helped to provide them with an invaluable, life defining opportunity that could not be replicated in the classroom.”
